The world celebrates Earth Day on April 22nd, but at Cavaletti we celebrate it all year long!
One of our most important values is to create decadent chocolates without damaging the ecosystem. We believe it’s possible to create a high quality product, sourced from environmentally friendly agriculture without contributing to climate change.
This is why we’ve chosen providers that are committed to helping the environment and who source their ingredients in a responsible way.
- Our chocolate comes from Cacao Barry, who alongside the Horizon Cacao foundation is trying to improve the lives of cacao farmers, by eradicating child labor, combatting deforestation and drastically reducing their carbon footprint.
- Our nuts come from Actibio, a French company whose products are all local and organic. They even made sure to create a sustainable delivery system, avoid unnecessary packaging and recycling their waste.
From a production standpoint, our packaging is made in France and all our boxes are recyclable, and the process we use to make our Cavaletti assures that we are left with minimum waste.
